What would your advice be to anyone thinking of starting an Etsy store? It's a good place to show your work and maybe sell.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. Welcome to potterybynoelle Here are some of my pottery pieces. I started taking pottery classes at the Potters Shop in Needham,MA. at the New Art Center in Newton MA. I have sold some of my pieces at craft fairs. l prefer handbuilding to wheel throwing items. Some of my favorite handbuilt are made from templates such as snowflake cutouts,cookies shapes and stencil. I also make seashore pendants and earrings . I am really trying to make pieces that i hope are sale able on Etsy or at craft fairs.
What is your favorite thing about selling on Etsy? My favorite part of selling on Etsy is trying to sell a piece.
Do you participate in craft shows? Why/why not? I do sell at craft fairs in Maine.
How and where do you promote your Etsy items? I promote my pieces on the etsy showcase. I also promote on Etsy teams. (Readers...you can become a member of the Etsy Codes Team)
What is the most challenging part of your work? The most challenging part of my work is making them and waiting to sell them.
What is your favorite craft store? My favorite craft store is AC Moore and Ben Franklin.
